Hanover - UNESCO City of Music, City of Choirs and Sound - in the year of the 50th DAGA, Hanover in the heart of Germany is hosting the event for the second time: you are cordially invited to DAGA 2024.

With its historic conference rooms and "Future Meeting Spaces", the Hannover Congress Center (HCC) offers a special setting for scientific presentations, encounters, professional exchange and creative interaction for this DAGA.

In the Hannover Region, we live and breathe acoustics: at Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH), Hannover Medical School (MHH) and Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH), but also in many initiatives and industrial companies in the surrounding area, there are extensive research activities in the fields of hearing, electroacoustics and audio technology, technical acoustics as well as music and sound research. Of particular note here is the contribution of LUH and MHH to the Hearing4all cluster of excellence in the Lower Saxony cooperation partnership Auditory Valley.

Between Harz and Heide, Oker and Leine, there is a variety of acoustics research - especially at non-university research institutions such as the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Clausthal University of Technology and, last but not least, Braunschweig University of Technology. At all university locations in the region, we are also very passionate about research.
